Chiusa la settimana della moda a New York. La tendenza per i soprabiti mostra grandi cambiamenti e sia che si tratti di rigorose giacche su misura che di stravaganti capi in pelliccia, la moda autunno-inverno 2012-2013 offre ampia scelta.

La pelliccia entra con gran risalto in tutte le linee. E questa tendenza la ritroviamo nel cappotto-coperta di Rag & Bones che con il suo collo di pelliccia si candida a restare un must anche nei prossimi anni.

Ma il leader indiscusso della stagione è il trech. Per ammirarlo nella sua linea classica e femminile, così come lo avremmo visto indossare da Jackie Kennedy, basta guardare la produzione di Oscar Di la Renta.

La lunghezza dei soprabiti dell’autunno-inverno 2012-2013 è a metà ginocchio ma anche mini. Ma non sarà questo dettaglio a definire ciò che è femminile ed elegante. Per le donne che vogliono una figura più slanciata, gli stilisti offrono svariate interpretazioni del mini e le collezioni sono ricche di mini soprabiti.

Un suggerimento. Una vecchia giacca di pelle da motociclista non passa mai di moda è può solo migliorare se ci aggiungiamo un collo di pelliccia removibile. Essere alla moda con capi-base come un classico cappotto va bene ma non dimentichiamoci di divertirci e soprattutto di osare.

New York Fashion Week has wrapped up and this year’s outer wear saw a strong change in this seasons trend.  Whether it’s a tailored peacoat or an exuberant fur, the range of women’s coats of fall and winter 2012-2013 is wide enough for an exacting choice.  Fur seemed to make its way to every style in a big way. The big trend to emerge thus far in outerwear is a big cozy blanket coat like Rag & Bones, (shown) has a rich red blanket plaid with fur sure to be a classic for years to come. In the wide range of selections the undisputed leader of the season is the trench coat. The most popular length of women’s coats of fall and winter 2012-2013 – is to the middle of the knee and midi. But don’t let this fact limit your choice. Feminine and chic is in fashion. And for women in fashion, who want to show a slender figure, the collections of the season have prepared mini-coats as the current trend. The designers have so many renditions of the mini- coat for those who flock to it.

I would like to note: a women’s old motorcycle style leather, never becomes outdated. Only better with age, and if you want a new twist on it have your tailor put a removable fur collar on it. I will never but anything that replaces my Gucci leather coat. A coat is usually figured to get five years wear, so investment Ina  staple, but have something fun and daring.
